As Yard Foreman, Ron Hodgson efficiently manages every aspect of our lumber yard. As well as overseeing all the shipping and receiving, Ron ensures material is always in stock and that it is stored safely and carefully until you need it. Always dependable, Ron manages to maintain his good humour despite any circumstance. He works persistently through any weather conditions, be it rain, sleet or snow. Another avid fan of the game of hockey, Ron's favourite team are the Montreal Canadiens.
Ron's pleasant attitude and friendly demeanor make it a pleasure to visit our yard anytime.
Jackie Baldwin's voice is the first one you will usually hear when placing calls to the MORRISBURG BUILDING CENTRE and it is Jackie who then directs your call to the most qualified salesperson to assist you.
In between regular phone reception she finds time to manage all the “paper” processes within the company. She also instills a bit of fear in all our staff... just enough to keep everyone in line so that everything runs smoothly. Just the way we like it!
Jackie and her family reside in Chesterville. She enjoys cycling and traveling and just recently traveled to Europe with her husband, Rod, to commemorate their 25th wedding anniversary. She also enjoys time spent at home with her dog, Ike, and is always thrilled to spend any time she can with grandchildren, Olivia and Owen!

Rick Johnston is the Operations Manager of the MORRISBURG BUILDING CENTRE. He is a man of action and is committed to his customers and his business. He is fixated on providing both service and competitive products and pricing. He keeps things simple and efficient and expects his staff to do the same.
Rick has been involved in the lumber and retail business in one capacity or another for the past 20 years. As well as overseeing every aspect of operations here, he is our Purchaser and also fills the "Special Order Desk".
Rick is also certified by the Lumber and Building Materials Association of Ontario as a Residential Estimator and can be can be contacted anytime to help you estimate costs for your next building project.
Margaret Johnston has been a part of the MORRISBURG BUILDING CENTRE from the day it opened. She began "behind the scenes" doing a little bit of everything on an "as needed" basis. Her job responsibilities over the years have encompassed yard service, counter sales and bookkeeping. As the business grew, more staff were added to the team to meet the growing needs of you, our customer, and Marg now devotes most of her attention to the area of Kitchen and Bath design.
She is certified in the use of 20/20 Design, a current and innovative computer design program. Marg enjoys the fulfillment the creative aspects this department allow her and is always enthusiastic about the new and exciting products available in this area of home construction/renovating. She would be more than happy to help you visualize your creative design ideas and make them a reality for you.

Though born and raised in Cornwall, Clem Kaddie has called Morrisburg home for over 30 years. He re-located to our lovely community to be nearer to his wife's close knit family. Clem is happy to be now working in the area as well. Clem and his wife, Peggy love to spend time with their two beautiful adult daughters. Enjoying an active lifestyle, Clem also relishes road trips on his motorcycle and kayaking in the beautiful St. Lawrence River.
Clem has considerable knowledge of the building industry as he has been "hands on" with the restoration and renovation of his historic village home. He also comes to us with some work experience in both the renovation and landscaping industries.
As our newest staff member, Clem is looking forward to building strong working relationships with each of you as he assists you with filling your building material needs here at the MORRISBURG BUILDING CENTRE.
Travis Murray is a strong and vital addition to our yard team. As well as filling your order in our yard, he is our "Ambassador on the Road." Despite being relatively new to the area Travis knows the area very well and can be depended on to deliver your material safely and in a timely manner.
Originally from Ottawa, Travis has very quickly adapted to small town living here in Morrisburg. He and his wife, Angel, think it is a great place to raise their 3 young children. And, as an avid fisherman, he says, "Living by the beautiful St Lawrence makes living here just about perfect!" As well as fishing, Travis enjoys most other sports, particularly hockey and is a diehard Ottawa Senators fan. (Much to Ron's dismay!)
Travis completely embraces our philosopy that good customer service is essential and the foundation of our business. He is also our "facebook" administrative assistant.
